A group seeking to protect and preserve a park in Abbots Langley is looking for members.
Friends of Leavesden Country Park, which was formed during November, has since held their first meeting and bulb planting day.
Councillor Chris Whately Smith said: "The Friends of Leavesden Country Park is an opportunity for all users, and visitors, of the park to have their say and lend a helping hand in the parks future.
"The enthusiasm and interest that our group has in all areas of the park is outstanding. I can't wait to see what ideas they come up with."
Membership is open to anyone wishing to help in future plans for the park.
