A reward is being offered for information on vandals that caused “thousands of pounds-worth of damage” to a park in Abbots Langley.
Leavesden Country Park has been targeted on numerous occasions in the past few months, with the latest destruction caused at the end of November, resulting in fences and trees destroyed, signage damaged and a gazebo ripped down.
Despite the efforts of the local police and as the incident was not reported on the evening, Crimestoppers are now offering a reward for £550 for “information leading to the arrest and conviction” of those involved in the crime.
Anyone with information should telephone police on the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222.
