Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce has been recognised with a top award from the British Chambers of Commerce.
They received the award for meeting the Skills Development Agenda at a ceremony at the National Maritime Museum.
The award is given for the chamber's support for business training in Hertfordshire.
Successes have included the Young Chamber Schools scheme, which has been put in place in seven schools across Hertfordshire, including the Bushey Academy in Watford.
Young Chamber Schools aim to nurture business and entrepreneurial skills in students.
David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce said: “Hertfordshire Chamber’s energy and enthusiasm for meeting the skills needs in and around Hertfordshire has had a profound effect on members and the community as a whole.”
