SARACENS have been boosted by the return of Richard Haughton for the daunting trip to Welford Road tonight (Friday) to face a resurgent Leicester Tigers side.

Haughton, the 23-year-old wing, returns from England Sevens duty and replaces Adryan Winnan as the only change from the side that went down to Gloucester last time, while highly-rated prop Aston Croall is named in the 22 for only the second time this season.

"I'm very happy to have Del (Haughton) back," said Kafer. "We missed a cutting edge against Gloucester and hopefully Del will provide that for us on Friday.

"He's come back from the Sevens with a real spring in his step and he's genuinely excited about playing some Premiership rugby. He's in a situation now where is pressing for a spot on one of the summer tours and he needs to play. I'd be delighted if he got himself on one of those tours."

Continued Kafer: "Aston is another player who has worked really hard this season," said Kafer. "He suffered a broken leg earlier in the year but has got back to a good level of fitness and is a player that we want to see progress in the side."

The return of Haughton and Croall, however, is offset by the absence of Taine Randell (knee) and Alex Codling (hamstring), who have both returned to light training but have not been considered for selection, while French wizard Thomas Castaignde is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

The absence of the trio could prove crucial against a formidable-looking Leicester side, captained by England's World Cup winning captained Martin Johnson and featuring Andy Goode, axed by Saracens midway through the season, at full-back.
