The Watford Observer's Review of 2009 - December

Followers of Observer Owl on Twitter were the first to hear the dramatic events of Watford FC's AGM in December.

The news of former chairmanJimmy Russo's resignation, Graham Taylor temporarily taking over as chairman and worries surrounding money from Elton John's concert were all broadcast on the “microblogging” website as they happened.

In the club's darkest hour, both fans and politicians reacted to the untold damage that administration would cause, and a deal to find close to £5million is still being drafted.
