A volunteer group dedicated to the upkeep and promotion of Rickmansworth’s section of the historic Grand Union Canal is to hold a public meeting for prospective new members.
The group will meet at Our Lady’s Church, in Park Road, Rickmansworth, on Tuesday evening to explain what it does and how new members can help.
Trustee Fabian Hiscock explained: “The group is for anybody who enjoys the local waterways and enjoys helping community groups.”
The meeting will start at 7pm.
