As plans for WatfordLIVE! 2010 get underway, the Palace Theatre has already pledged to play a central part in this year’s big cultural community event.
The new Green Room Bar with its funky interior, removable stage and a large noticeboard for the use of Watford’s arts community throughout the year, will become a festival club for the week-long event from Saturday, July 10, to Sunday, July 18.
The Green Room has already proved popular for after-show entertainment at night and a drop-in place during the day.
During WatfordLIVE! the Green Room will become a central point for people to pick up programme information as well as a performance space for smaller groups.
Jane Parr visited the Green Room for a live recording of this new feature of the town’s Edwardian Theatre in Clarendon Road.
