A MULTI-MILLION pound investment on the site of the former Sun Printers will see scores of new jobs created.

The Brewers Fayre restaurant and bar and Travel Inn Hotel will create at least 85 full and part-time jobs when it opens in spring 2005.

The Brewers Fayre will form the ground floor of the building and attractions will include contemporary surroundings, disabled facilities and an extensive food and wine menu.

Above the restaurant and bar will be a 120 bedroomed Travel Inn.

Dave Langley, business development manager for Whitbread Restaurants, said: "The new Brewers Fayre will appeal to anyone looking to enjoy a drink or a meal in a contemporary yet relaxed surroundings.

"The added attraction of a Travel Inn hotel means it will appeal to local residents, visitors to the area and business people."
