A Chorleywood toddler was rushed to an Austrian hospital after he was crushed by a giant snowman and stopped breathing.
Three-year-old Louis Kindal became trapped under the giant 10ft figure on the first day of a family holiday to the Leutasch ski resort, near Insbruck, yesterday.
He was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma but is expected to make a full recovery.
Father Yves told local media how he dug so frantically at the snow that his hands began to bleed.
They had only just arrived at their hotel when the freak accident happened.
