Breaking with tradition part 2.

This weekend we will be open as usual for lunch & dinner on Friday and Saturday and for Sunday Lunch from noon to 5.

I say "open as usual" as though it is Valentines weekend we have decided to declare The Three Crowns a 90% love free zone and just carry on business as usual.

The remaining 10% will be a small "Love Zone" where we will dim the lights and sprinkle a few hearts around for those of you who want to celebrate the weekend of lurrrve.

Other than that you can venture out safely for a bite to eat or a drink without being assailed by red roses & strawberries dipped in chocolate.

As a result of my last blog one of my regulars, Colin accused me of disturbing his Saturday morning lie in.

It seems that those clever people in the advertising department at The Watford Observer have a widget that searches articles and blogs for key words and matches this up to advertisers.

As a result an advertising banner promoting a brand of haggis popped up at the bottom of my report on our Burns Supper.

Colin clicked on the banner and ended up entering a competition to win a case of haggis and was then woken up at 0720 last Saturday when his prize arrived by special delivery.

I wonder what we`ll get with this one ?
