A Methodist church in Kings Langley is to celebrate its 75th anniversary with a photography competition.
Kings Langley Methodist Church, in Hempstead Road, will hold anniversary celebrations on the weekend commencing Saturday, May 1, and will include exhibits, a cream tea and a photography competition.
Budding photographers aged 18 and over are invited to submit photos for a competition based on the theme of “our village" or "our churches”.
Students under 18 are also encouraged to submit photographs themed around popular hymn “Morning has broken”.
Entries will be exhibited on the day.
A service of celebration will be held on Sunday, May 2, attended by congregations of all the village churches.
Prospective photography entrants should call Reverend Gill Hulme on 01923 677166 for further details.
