A community arts group, in partnership with Three Rivers District Council, is producing a series of performances to explore the cultural heritage of the Rickmansworth area.

Cultural organisation Parrabbola and the district council are using drama to explore the history of Heronsgate, Mill End and Maple Cross.

A community play entitled Land of Liberty is currently being planned, and the group is calling for interested residents who may be able to help.

The finished play will be performed in community venues across the district.

Volunteers are needed to help research, share acting, singing, music, technical theatre and stage management skills, and help to produce the play.

Workshops will be held in Mill End Community Centre, Church Lane, March 11, 7pm to 9pm, Chiltern Sports and Social Club, March 14, 7pm to 9pm, and Bullsland Hall, March 15, 7pm to 9pm.
