South Oxhey nursery Places for Children dress up as fictional characters

Children and staff at a nursery in South Oxhey celebrated World Book Day last week by dressing up as their favourite fictional characters.

Places for Children, in Altham Gardens, took part in the international event to promote early reading skills to its children.

Nursery manager Karen Peters-Amphlett said: “All the children and staff dressed up as their favourite characters from books, they also brought in their favourite books to share and went on a trip to the local library.”
