A community day, celebrating the Mill End area, will be held later this month.
The event takes place at the Community Centre in Church Lane, on Saturday, March 27.
Liberal Democrat Councillor Les Mead said: “It's a celebration of Mill End, to get the residents to form a cohesive community and to create good feeling for everyone.”
From noon, attractions include a shire horse, morris dancers and an assault course.
