A school in Croxley Green celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite fictional characters last week.
Staff and children from York House School on Sarratt Road, took part in the international literature day on Thursday, March 4.
Children dressed as an elephant, Harry Potter, Angelina Ballerina, Indiana Jones, a lion, Postman Pat, a Transformer and Where’s Wally.
Peter MacDougall, headteacher, said: “At the end of the day everyone went home with a special certificate. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.”
The children also brought in their favourite books and took part in a special assembly.
