An 11-year-old boy has been hospitalised following a road accident this morning.
Ambulance crews from Rickmansworth and Watford were called to Dickinson Avenue, in Croxley Green.
At about 8.19am the boy was hit by a black VW Lupo car.
Gary Sanderson, from the East of England Ambulance Service, said: “The boy received injuries to his face and back following the collision with a car.
“Paramedics treated and stabilised him at the scene, before he was taken to Watford General Hospital.”
