Watford rail crash surgeon dies suddenly

An eminent surgeon who treated many of victims of the Watford rail crash has died suddenly at the age of 55.

Graham Belham, formerly an orthopaedic surgeon at Watford General Hospital, died on Friday, March 5, it was announced today.

Mr Belham, of Ealing, was praised for his treatment of patients after the accident, near Watford Junction, in 1996.
