Businesses from Bushey and Radlett fined as part of anti-littering campaign

An anti-littering campaign in Hertsmere has seen two businesses fined in its first two months.

The Take Pride in Your Environment Scheme was introduced by Hertsmere Borough Council on February 1 and sees fines issued to those caught dropping litter.

The two cases recorded so far involved the dumping of industrial packaging at Kemp Place, in Bushey and Watling Street, in Radlett.

Fines are issued as fixed penalty notices and start at £75 but, if paid early, they are reduced to £50.
