A day centre for the elderly was filled with laughter and colour when a class of schoolchildren arrived to take part in an art project.
Children from Holy Rood School visited the neighbouring Victoria House Day Centre, in Greenbank Road, on Monday, where old and young worked together to create a colourful canvas.
The vibrant result, containing numerous hand prints, is now on display at the centre.
