Pedal power at a Watford leisure centre helped to raise more than £1,500 for Sport Relief.
Dozens of fitness fanatics climbed onto spinning bikes to take part in an 11 hour 'spinathon' at Watford Central Leisure Centre on Saturday.
The day was split into hourly sessions, with gym members encouraged to sign up for an hour or more. One tireless biker pedalled for five hours in a row.
The event was led by instructor Lianna Day, 23, who boosted her energy throughout the day with bananas, nuts and chocolate.
She said: “We wanted to do something for Sport Relief and we've just had our new spin studio launched this year so we thought it would be ideal.
“I don't really remember the last hour but it was all worth it. When you realise how much you have raised, it makes it all worthwhile.
“We all enjoyed the day, all the members were motivated and we're looking for the next challenge.”
