A teenager from Dunstable, Beds has appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the murder of 18 year old Daniel Rush in Watford.
Lee Devlin, 18, from Badgers Gate faced the charge at Luton Crown Court on Tuesday.
Daniel, an apprentice carpenter died on March Ist after being injured allegedly with a hammer, several days before in Longsprings, north Watford.
With Devlin in the dock was another 18 year old. James Newton, of Palmerston Road, Kilburn.
He pleaded not guilty to assisting an offender by disposing of a hammer on February 24.
The trial against both young men will begin on November 17 and is expected to last for three to four weeks. They were both released on bail.
