Wood Boys had that double feeling on Sunday when they beat the league runners up 1-0 in a tightly contested game.
Wood just had the edge, and captain Taylor Burgen scored the all-important goal from a penalty after some clever play from Rhys Parkinson, who beat several players before being brought down in the box.

On Saturday, less than 24 hours before their cup final, Wood Boys Under 9s played their last home game of the season. With the title already in the bag they had a comfortable win, with goals from Ryan Garvey and Rhys Parkinson scoring his 58th goal of the season, Wood Boys won the top division by seven points, with only one defeat all term.
