IN September 1933, together with 30 other 11-year-olds I joined Watford Grammar School as what was then termed a Scholarship Boy.

Now almost 70 years later I am wondering how my former colleagues have fared over this long period. Inevitably many contacts were lost during Second World War, which began as we were leaving school. If any of that 1933 intake should read this letter, I should be most interested to hear from them and to exchange news and reminiscences.
