A SPONSORED dance held by pupils of Kliks Dance School last Sunday, was hailed as a great success by all involved.

Pupils performed a dance called Clic for four hours, between 12pm and 4pm at Oxhey Wood school.

120 children aged between four-years-old and 17-years-old took part in the event, to raise money for a charity for children with cancer and leukaemia.

The dancers were sponsored, raising pledges of £4,000 and a final total will be recorded when they have collected all the money.

Ms Mary Hurley from Kliks said: "It went very well and all the children involved had a great day.

"We had to stop some of them dancing as they would have carried on going if we had let them."

Principal of the school, Miss Kirsty Warren was delighted with the success of the day and the enthusiasm of the students.
