A FRENCH woman has been treated for serious chest and pelvic injuries after she was found lying near the Terminus Street car park in Harlow in the early hours of Saturday.
The woman, who lives locally, was discovered by a police patrol at about 2am and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Officers cordoned off part of the car park and closed the road while they inspected the scene.
They are appealing for anyone who saw the woman in the area at the time or has any information about the incident to contact them. They are not treating the incident as suspicious.
A police spokesman said: "There is a possibility she may have fallen from the car park but we're not investigating any crime."
The woman is white, slim, in her mid 20s to early 30s, 5ft 2ins tall. She has dark hair and was wearing jeans, a dark top, beige coat and orange scarf.
