You reported last week that a new-look night service at Edgware Hospital had been approved by the Department of Health (Approval for night service', April 3). I would like to make a couple of clarifications, because I felt your report could confuse some readers.
Firstly: there will be a trained GP doctor on site during the hours 7am to 10am.
Secondly: a trained GP doctor will be available to provide telephone and/or face-to-face medical advice through the on-call out-of-hours GP visiting service.
