I think it a bit rich of Labour group leader Councillor Phil Pipsqueak' Yeoman to comment on Wood Court (Treatment of Elderly is Appalling, Letters, April 3).
He was part of the last administration that closed Wood Court a happy community of sheltered residents.
The resultant disruption to their lives was criminal, and what's happened? Months later and nothing, just a boarded up empty building.
So when will the new Wood Court be built to benefit Barnet's elderly residents?
Under this Tory Council, who gleefully stole and sold off the new Burnt Oak Youth and Community Centre probably never.
