A woman is appealing for witnesses after her prized new dog went missing.
Ms Mary Forbes is hoping her greyhound bitch Macey, which escaped her home in Westlea Avenue on the Meriden estate last month, will be returned.
She said: "She would have been a family dog. I had only had her a week but I loved her to death. I had bonded with her but I wasn't there when she got out. She didn't know the area I presume she went looking for me."
The dog, which is coloured dark brown with white feet, was wearing an identity collar when it disappeared on March 19. No body has been found.
