PETER DEAKIN, chief executive of Saracens, will officially step down from his post today (Wednesday, December 11) to concentrate on getting back to full fitness with Mark Sinderberry of top Australian side ACT Brumbies to join the men in black as chief executive in the new year.
Sinderberry has been the driving force behind ACT Brumbies since the club's formation seven years ago and is looking forward to the challenge of working in Watford.
Speaking from Australia he said: "It's a great opportunity to be able to work with Saracens and while I'm looking forward to the challenge, it will be difficult to leave Canberra and what has been established from a rugby point of view."
