A RICKMANSWORTH care home has appointed a new manager.
Mrs Ruby Kausor, of Watford, has recently taken over at Chalfont Court Care Home, in Uxbridge Road, Rickmansworth.
She was previously working as an agency nurse at Watford General Hospital, on acute general and elderly care wards.
Mrs Kausor, who has two children Farah and Sunny, said: "It is wonderful to be appointed manager, my goals will be to improve the quality of service we are delivering to both the elderly people and their families."
Chalfont Court is managed by Care UK Community Partnership, which runs another 43 homes across the country.
Chalfont Court Care Home, has 24 beds for the elderly mentally infirm, which are contracted to the the local authority, and 22 beds for the frail elderly, which are available privately.
