WATFORD FC face the prospect of a Worthington League Cup semi-final clash with the Premiership's Blackburn Rovers if they can overcome Sheffield Wednesday this week.
If the Hornets can get past the Owls in the quarter final on Wednesday, December 19, at Hillsborough (kick off 7.45pm) they would have home advantage in the first leg, to be played in the week beginning January 7 before travelling to Ewood Park a fortnight later.
