WITH almost three decades of cycling behind him, Verulam's Ian Brazier has indicated that last weekend's National Hill Climb in north Wales was his last competitive race.

"It seems to get harder each year," said Brazier, who turns 40 during the close season and will compete as a veteran if he does race next season.

"But like any sportsman, it's a drug. At the moment, though, I just want to ride for enjoyment."
