A COUNTER demonstration to an anti-war protest taking place in Northwood on Saturday, November 3 has been organised by the National Front.
The aim of the demonstration is to show support for the men and women in the British armed forces.
A protest by the Watford Stop The War Coalition, which is due to take place at 2pm on Saturday outside the Northwood NATO base, has been organised in protest against the Government military action which is currently being carried out in Afghanistan.
However, a local branch of the National Front in South Oxhey claimed it had been inundated with phone calls from people who want to show support for the British Army.
It has organised a counter-demonstration on the same day in the same place.
