Thieves burgled a house in Borehamwood's Beech Drive on Sunday, after climbing up a drainpipe. According to police, between 9.30am and 9.45pm, the burglars got into the back garden, but failed to force the back door open. They then climbed up the drainpipe, got inside the house through an upstairs toilet window and stole a £350 television, £500 CD player and jewellery.
