A police investigation into a daylight robbery in Borehamwood's Shenley Road has dried up, with no fresh leads.

Despite footage caught on CCTV, police have not managed to trace the gang of four to five robbers who stole the wallet of Radlett resident Zelic Zartz, 61, as he walked past the Spar shop at around 3pm on June 11.

Police could not identify any of the offenders from the footage, and a Hertfordshire Constabulary spokeswoman said this week: "There are no further lines of inquiry".

She added the case would be looked at again if more information came to light.

*Police are also reaching the end of the line with their inquiries into a gun-point robbery in Radlett in July.

They have not managed to trace the three masked men who broke into a house in Goodyers Avenue, in the early hours, and tied up a husband, wife and their son, before escaping with jewellery and cash.

A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman said: "They have gone through all the leads they have at this point. It will still be investigated, but they are getting to the point where they are reaching the end of all enquiries. Any new information will be investigated."
