Police are appealing for information after vandals caused damage at two Borehamwood schools in separate incidents last week.
Burglars caused several hundred pounds worth of damage at St Teresa's Roman Catholic School, in Brook Road, when they broke into a metal shed in the grounds and poured paint over games and toys.
They also damaged other items and left them strewn across the playground during the break-in, between 5pm last Thursday and 8.45am the next day. Damage estimated at £300 was caused when intruders forced entry and ransacked a classroom at Lyndhurst Middle School, in Gateshead Road, on Sunday. The alarm went off at 5.15am and nothing was stolen.
If you have information call Borehamwood police on 020 8905 1212.
