AN 81-year-old St Albans woman's purse was snatched from her trolley bag as she was shopping in St Peter's Street, St Albans, last Friday afternoon between 2.30pm and 3.45pm.
After paying for sweets in Woolworth's, she put her purse back in her bag, left the store and went into Marks and Spencer.
After choosing some clothes near the front door, she went upstairs to pay for them and found her purse, containing £30 in cash, was missing.
