STANSTED Express will gradually bring a new fleet of refurbished trains into service this month.
The trains, sporting a luxurious interior and striking new livery, are part of a £10m investment programme by parent company Prism Rail plc. They will be used to service Stansted Airport.
Business class passengers can enjoy aircraft-style reclining seats, power points for laptops and phone rechargers, and spacious surroundings to relax and work in.
The new general manager of Stansted Express, Debbie Ellis, said: 'It is vital for a service such as Stansted Express to keep evolving to satisfy both our on-board customer's changing needs and those of our business partners, such as BAA, airlines, station authorities and local communities.'
