Shenley Village II 106

Letchworth IV 218-8 dec.

Herts Cricket League Division Ten

Thanks to a lack of discipline when it comes to keeping wickets intact the Villagers crumbled last weekend.

Unless this matter can be addressed before the end of the season, only five games away, relegation looms large.

The Villagers lost the toss last Saturday and were put into bat on a good wicket at the Shenley Cricket Centre's nursery ground.

Though Shenley did what they could against Letchworth, the visitors posted 218-8 declared off 50 overs.

The problem of maintaining wickets meant the Villagers had to call it a day at 106 all out in the 34th over.
