Plans are underway for a pre-season friendly later this month between two of Borehamwood's liveliest Sunday league sides. North London and South Herts League outfit Cannon Reserves and Olympian League side Green Dragon may face one another before the new season starts at a venue yet to be decided.
The prospect of a pre-season friendly arose as a result of good-natured rivalry between Cannon's boss Jamie Marlow and Dragon manager Mark Peach.
Saracens take on top Irish provincial side Lenster tomorrow night in a pre-season friendly at Vicarage Road.
This match, which has free admission and kicks off at 7.30pm, will allow Sarries' fans the first look at French international Thomas Castaignede.
The match will complete Saracens' pre-season programme and set the side up for their first match of the new season on August 20 against Gloucester.
