A Port Vale steward told a Watford fan in his 60's to sit down in his seat and appeared to be getting quite heavy about it on Tuesday night.

The irony is that there were 1,400 Watford fans by the side of him, all standing up.

There was relief for one Watford fan that the game finally took place on Tuesday. He bought a wasted train ticket for the original match -- added to travel and hotel for the postponed game and then the cost of travel on Tuesday night, it all topped the £120 mark.

One Watford fan who caught a taxi to Vale Park for last week's postponed game, was asked by the driver: "Are you an auditor for the John Rudge settlement case?"
