A BUSHEY resident has launched an appeal to find a mystery man who returned her £200 and cash card to bank staff after she left it behind.
Sharon Lynch, of Cotswold Avenue, was taking some money out in HSBC in Watford High Street on Friday, July 15, at about 12.15pm, when she began to feel unwell and subsequently forgot her money and card.
When she went back to the bank 20 minutes later and told staff about the situation, she learned a man had handed them in but did not leave a name.
Sharon said: "I just wish I could personally thank him for his kindness and honesty. It's good to know there are such lovely people around. It's nice that someone was so helpful."
If anybody has information on the identity of the mystery man please telephone the Watford Observer on 01923 216298, or e-mail mwolstenholme@london.newsquest.co.uk.
