Oxhey Early Years Centre has been awarded outstanding Ofsted reports for both its daycare service and nursery school.

Inspectors said the nursery in Eastbury Road provides a stimulating, caring and supportive environment where children flourish and develop a thirst for learning.

Cathy Gunning, headteacher, said she was very proud and wanted to thank the staff and all others who contribute to this success.

“I believe that this is because we place an importance on ‘getting it right for children’ and keeping children at the centre of all we do.

“We always want to know what we want to do better and how we can help families, by listening and responding to them.”
