The owners of a unique vehicle are appealing for anyone in the Watford area who may have seen it, after it was stolen from Chorleywood tube station.
The Park family from Heronsgate purchased the “Trikidoo” a three-wheeled pedal powered rickshaw in order to enjoy days out together.
It had taken them from their home to the Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Chorleywood Village and even into Northwood.
However, on Monday the tricycle was stolen from the tube station in Watford Road.
Alistair Park said: “We thought we'd cracked the school run. It's healthy, fun and good for the environment.
“However, after we locked it up on the station, underneath a CCTV camera, thieves cut through the bike cable and stole our much loved trike.
“Our home insurance won't pay, so we really need to hear from any readers who've seen this rare new breed of green transport.”
If you have seen Trikidoo telephone British Transport Police on 0207 027 6370.
