Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate Sal Brinton says there is “still all to play for” after a mixed night for her party nationwide.
Ms Brinton, speaking from home and through a “streaming cold”, said: “I’m sitting in front of the TV watching us making some losses and some gains – but overall more gains than losses.
“What is clear is that nobody knows what is going to happen. Also, a big Conservative swing is not happening. There is still a lot to play for. I know it is going to be a very close race.”
