The British National Party (BNP) is considering fielding a candidate in a parish council by-election, the Watford Observer has learned.
Party organisers are considering vying for a vacant seat on Bovingdon Parish Council – vacated by a resignation.
Markyate parish councillor Simon Deacon said the party is weighing up two possible candidates for the poll, to be held on June 10.
The deadline for candidates is Thursday.
