A man who robbed a motorist at gunpoint in Harrow may have connections to Watford, police have revealed.
The robber lured his victim to the car park at Clementine Churchill Hospital, in Sudbury Hill, at 7pm on Friday, February 12 by posting an advert for a silver VW Golf on website Gumtree.
But after letting the man test drive the car, the con artist threatened him with a firearm and then stole his grey Rover 75, registration number W632 TMJ.
Police believe an accomplice drove the Golf away from the scene while the robbery was going on.
Detectives have released this e-fit of the man they are looking for.
He is described as a black man, of stocky build, aged 25 to 30, with a shaved head, who was wearing a blue nurses' scrubs uniform at the time.
He had a plaster just below his lip and is thought to be from Harrow or Brent.
