Children at a Radlett primary school will be greeted by a six foot tall, green and orange dinosaur tomorrow morning.
Buster, the Hertfordshire County Council walking bus mascot, will be visiting the pupils at Newberries Primary School, in Newberries Avenue, encouraging them to take part in the school's own scheme.
Currently ten pupils walk to school with the programme every Tuesday morning and chair of governors Gaenor Morris said the school is looking to increase participation.
She said: “The children are really enthusiastic and sing songs and dance on the walks. It is a mixture of helping the environment, keeping the children active and reducing congestion outside the school and we would love to expand the scheme to every day.”
