A crash involving a milk float and a car held up commuters in Watford this morning.

Police were called, at 8.06am, to the Colosseum roundabout, in Rickmansworth Road, where the delivery float had collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

It is unclear how the two vehicles collided or whether the battery powered milk truck, with a top speed of about 16 miles per hour, spilled its load.

No-one was injured in the collision but the milk float was towed away by a recovery vehicle.
