A new housing complex has been officially opened by the chairman of Watford Borough Council.
Councillor Alan Burtenshaw cut the ribbon at Willow Grange, Church Road on Thursday.
The development has made an additional 40 homes available for rent for people on Watford’s housing register.
Councillor Burtenshaw said: “The days of social housing being inferior are long gone. These homes are another example of this.”
On the site is a Victorian manor house, later used as the headquarters of British Waterways, who extended the property and added a large ornamental pond in 1990.
